• cardboard circle (could conveniently make 1 from recycled cardboard too, primarily if you have been procrastinating the holiday thoroughly clean up!)

• feather trim ( obtained 2 of this feather trim and 1 of this feather fringe trim)

• aluminum pop top (taken out from can) to cling (could also use string or hang with force pins)

Applications:

scorching glue gun/sticks, scissors

What I did:

I found the middle of my cardboard circle. From there, I drew a straight line to the outer edge. 

Employing scissors, I minimize along the line. 

Following, using incredibly hot glue alongside a single facet of the minimize, I glued the other aspect somewhat on major to make a very little little bit of a ‘bowl’-shape. It’s incredibly slight…just more than enough to give it a 3D glimpse.

Then, protect your fingers ‘cuz that very hot glue is Scorching! Be very careful! (I applied a capped pen to hold down the ribbon as needed.) Figure out placement and start off attaching the bottom of the feather trip to the cardboard circle. I labored my way about the outer edge. 

Repeat in circles for complete coverage. Dependent on your provides, determine how close with each other to go over the cardboard. I alternated the 2 unique feather trims. 

For the center, insert a coordinating or very same color silk flower. Or, like me, consider a little bit of leftover trim and roll to generate a “center” piece. Connect with incredibly hot glue. 

Fill in with unique feathers as necessary.

Attach hanging system of selection to the back with sizzling glue. 

Quick peasy! Substantially lighter and not as detailed or heavy as the genuine detail but stunning none-the-considerably less and special because you produced it on your own!
